You will be learning the following:
Unit 1: Hola, Que Tal? based on the Textbook, Senderos
Basic Greetings (Vocabulary): Learn greetings like "Hola" and "Adiós".
Introductions (Communication): Introduce yourself using "Me llamo" and ask names with "¿Cómo te llamas?".
Courtesy Phrases (Communication): Use phrases like "Gracias" and "Por favor".
Gender of Nouns (Grammar): Understand that nouns in Spanish are either masculine or feminine.
Numbers 1-30 (Vocabulary): Count from 1 to 30 in Spanish.
Subject Pronouns (Grammar): Know pronouns like yo, tú, él, ella.
Present tense of the verb SER (Grammar): Learn the forms of "to be"; soy, eres, es, son, somos.

Daily Routines (Communication): Interact (at a survival level) with a new student and talk about classes and school schedules.
Present Tense of -AR Verbs (Grammar): Learn to conjugate present tense verbs like “hablo” and “estudiamos.”
The Verb Gustar (Grammar): Use the verb gustar to express preferences.
Academic Courses (Vocabulary): Learn the names of classes and places in school.
