My name is Andrew Cianfano, and I've been a 6th grade math teacher at Woodbridge Middle School since January 2003. I am also the Chess Club Advisor for WMS.

I completed my undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey in 2001, double-majoring in Elementary Education (K-8) and History. I also played football for the college as an offensive lineman (center) and received All-NJAC honors in 2001. In 2009, I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix.

I played football at Colonia High School (#77), where I graduated in 1997. I now coach the offensive and defensive lines for my alma mater. I also served as a line coach at JFK High School in 2003 and 2004.

I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, which is a Catholic charitable organization. I serve as the Grand Knight in our council. We work to serve the Church and for those in need.
I also taught CCD for 5th and 7th grades for St. John Vianney School.
My favorite teams are the New York Giants and the New York Mets. One of my favorite things to do is to go to Giants and Mets games!
One of my favorite hobbies is genealogy (the study of your family history). My father was an Italian immigrant and one of my favorite places to visit is Italy. I took the picture above from the castle at my family's ancestral village.
I have Italian, Greek, and Filipino ancestry! I am also a devoted Catholic. My heritage and my faith are very important parts of my life.
