In order to have the best experience for learning we will follow these Class Expectations:
Be On Time, On Task, and Prepared: Have all pencils, paper, electronics, work, and books necessary for class everyday.
Be Respectful: towards the teacher, classmates, and to yourselves. Respect other's property.
Raise Your Hand: to answer or ask questions, sharpen pencils, or to throw something away in the garbage.
Be Responsible: For your own learning and completing your own work.
Have Fun and Believe in Yourself: Math takes practice. We want learning to be challenging yet enjoyable. Keep persevering in your work.
Discipline Referral Process
There will be a progression of discipline
First Offense: Students are given a warning and it is documented in Genesis
Second Offense: Students are given a warning, parents are notified, and incident and parent contact is documented in Genesis
Third Offense: Discipline referral is completed and student is documented via Code of Conduct
