Ms. Amorin is available after school for English tutoring in room 236 upon request. 

English class expectations:  In this English class, students are expected to come prepared to read, write, participate, and learn each day. Students should complete assigned readings carefully and thoughtfully, and they should be prepared to discuss and respond to what they have read. Writing assignments should demonstrate effort, attention to detail, and a willingness to revise and improve. Active participation is important, so students are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, listen respectfully to others, and contribute to class discussions and activities. Above all, students are expected to put forth consistent effort, take responsibility for their learning, and demonstrate respectful, responsible behavior toward their classmates, teacher, and classroom environment. 

Note:  Assessments are only accepted one day late for a penalty of -5 (or as per the discretion of the teacher). After one day, the grade stands as a zero. Student accountability is important.
