I earned my Bachelor's in Visual Arts from Brown University and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Rutgers University. My educational background includes a range of studio practices, including screenprinting, painting, and graphic design, as well as the study of art history.
I’m drawn to teaching because of the way education can empower, inspire, and build confidence. I believe art is for everyone, regardless of skill level or background, and that every student deserves access to art as a form of self-expression and connection.
My experiences in both education and the arts have shaped my commitment to inclusive and intentional teaching. While I may not be able to change the entire education system, I believe teachers can make a real difference in the lives of their students, and I strive to create a classroom where every student feels supported and valued.
