What is LinkIt?
LinkIt is a comprehensive data management system that our school district uses to support student learning and growth. Think of it as a secure digital "data locker" where we store and organize various assessment results and student performance information in one central location. This system allows teachers and administrators to easily access and analyze student data to better understand each child's academic progress throughout the year.
We use LinkIt in several important ways to support your child's education. First, it houses results from state tests, classroom assessments, and district-wide benchmark tests that help us measure student progress at key points during the school year. Some of these benchmark assessments are administered directly through the LinkIt platform. Most importantly, the data we gather through LinkIt plays a crucial role in our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process. By analyzing this information, teachers can identify students who may need additional support or enrichment, create targeted intervention plans, and monitor how well different instructional strategies are working. This data-driven approach helps us ensure that every student receives the right level of support to succeed academically.
