Position Title: After School Site Coordinator at Halifax Elementary School
Report to: Wings Director and Assistant Director
Do you enjoy working with a team of educators to provide the best possible after school enrichment experience to children? Are you enthusiastic about after school and the doors it can open for youth in our community? If you answered yes to these questions we would love to have you join our organization as a Site Coordinator.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervise Programs
Manage program sessions, on-going site activities, and special events.
Supervise and evaluate all program leaders and academic services staff.
Ensure that all Wings’ operational policies and procedures, and those of the WSWSU applicable to after school, are being followed.
Maintain the safety of students, perform routine first aid, and seek assistance for serious illness/injury. Adhere to general safety guidelines issued by the VT DOE safety procedures outlined by Wings.
Paperwork
Sign off on all program spending – stipend requests, academic services payment requests, and expense reimbursements.
Complete and/or collect paperwork needed to track program participation and effectiveness.
Collaborate with directors to create program flyers, public relations displays, and other paperwork to communicate about the program
Organizational and Outreach Efforts
Attend Site Coordinator meetings on a monthly basis
Work as a community liaison in all aspects of the Wings organization
Site Coordinator Expectations
Site coordinator is expected to attend trainings as requested by Wings administration
Site coordinator is expected to be present during all afterschool programming
Site coordinator must sign and adhere to Site Coordinator Expectations and Safety Procedures form

2:30pm-5:30pm M-Th
+1-5 flexible hours a month for meetings, trainings, etc.
Total hours: 12-15 hours/ week
Pay rate:
$21-25/ hour based on experience and education
