We received the $15k Women's Fund Grant

Completed 4 camps in August

Prepared for, marketed, sold group programming (we sold 1 last year and 9 this year) for and hosted Iron Pour classes throughout August

Led the remaining of the 12 summer interns through projects

Arranged for Fall Interns:

I (personally) joined the Black Chamber and met with Gloria, who would like to discuss STEAM Camp Programming. 

Service Project submitted through Hands-on NW North Carolina, it's in the 2nd round of review!

I received a grant for and am now taking the Women's Emerging Leaders Program "preparing, strengthening, and supporting women for leadership roles.  WEL is a ten-month program consisting of two components: an intensive Leadership Essentials for Women workshop and enrollment in the Nonprofit Essentials Program

Ray & Lynn Clarke STEAM Scholarship Fund is being established with an initial donation of $5k.  Ray will be sending out 50 personalized letters to his friends and colleagues and will be including the trifold below  (see corresponding website page here:  Ray & Lynn Clarke STEAM Scholarship Fund)

Met with Yosi  re: Artist  Residency

Met with the new Habitat Youth Epowerment Program leader Mike, discussed private after school programming 

Applied for Greater Winston Salem Inc Aspire Internship Employer (paid program)

Attended Industry Hill Safety Meeting

Justin Pressley bought and donated security cameras and is installing them outside at three main entry points

Michael Wharton donated a set of 4 metal stools for us to try out in flex space
