When to Put In a Tech Ticket
Is the problem with….
Your account? - Maybe . . . if it is network, Gerbus or Wils can reset a password. If it is something else, you will need to do a tech ticket or call the Help Desk ((336) 727-8300)
Teacher Laptop Issues? - Yes, this is a Tech Ticket.
Promethean Panel? - Yes, this is a Tech Ticket.
Cables and Cords? - Yes, this is a Tech Ticket.
Printers? - Maybe. If you can see Papercut and just need help finding printers, the SLMC may be able to assist. If Papercut is missing from your device, it is a Tech Ticket.
Tech Tools ? - SLMC can usually help.
Infinite Campus? - Depends on the issue, check with grade level guru, but it might be a Tech Ticket.
Student Device Issues? No. The device needs to go to the homeroom teacher for tracking purposes. The SLMC will enter any ticket tickets needed.
