After high school i would like to continue in the culinary field working in restaurants and continuing my culinary study at a dedicated culinary school. My overall goal is to open a Fine dining restaurant accessible to the public not packed behind an expensive price tag, making gourmet food accessible to everyone. I hope to study both business and culinary arts to give me the knowledge and experience to create my own restaurant with the goal of making a restaurant that can be more easily accessible to the public, instead of an overpriced smoke and mirrors show that masks mediocre food. My passion is in creating food the the best of my ability and presenting it for others to experience and enjoy.
I looked at multiple different culinary schools, many of them did not meet what what I wanted form a culinary school. My main concern for college was being able to peruse both a culinary and business degree simultaneously, that's is why I chose to apply to Johnson and whales culinary program. Both of Johnson and whales campuses offer both a culinary and business management degree, so being able to study both of those topics at the same university was what made it stand out to me.
