I'm Taking a Flex Elective, for Japanese Culture. I didn't know what Flex was until I wanted to further my Japanese studies and found out through my counselor that I can get credits while doing it. So I started to talk with Ms. Thielen, about my options, and flex fit perfectly. I got to talk with Ms. Thielen about what interested me, what I wanted to learn, and why I wanted to learn about Japanese Culture. Then together we came up with a plan for learning Japanese Culture and meeting a couple of times a week to demonstrate what I've been learning. I've enjoyed my time in Flex and will continue next year, learning more about the langue and grammar structure. My long-term goal is to travel to Japan either after high school or college, then ultimately live there.Â
