Predictors of Scholastic Success - Abbott & Rhyan (1999)

I read something the other day that interested me, regarding student success. Abbott & Rhyan (1999) believe that "many of the predictors of scholastic success occur before a child enters school.

Those predictors include:

- The level of discussion at home.

- The development of a value system.

- Interaction with peer groups.

- The amount of time independent reading."
