After years of volunteering in schools, working as a reading tutor, and substituting, I knew it was time to finally get my degree and begin teaching in my own classroom. Since 2014 I have been teaching 4th grade at Freedom Elementary, and I love it!
When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and four children. We love to travel, camp, fish, canoe, four wheel, snowmobile, play games, and watch movies together.
My favorite thing about teaching, is watching my students learn and grow throughout the year. I believe that while we are working hard, learning can be fun. It’s all in the attitude!
I also believe that teamwork is an important part of our success as learners. Teamwork between teacher and parent, between student and teacher, and between student and student, are all important in the success of each person in our classroom. As we work together, we can accomplish amazing things!
I look forward to this next school year, and all the fun, success, and friendship it will bring.
See you in the classroom!
