Running Records

Running Records are optional assessments teachers can use with students who may be reading below grade level in which additional information about a student's reading deficits is needed.  

Prior to administering the TCRWP Running Records, teachers should print and read the guidebook to prepare for administering the assessment. TCRWP Running Records and Guidebooks can be found on The Reading and Writing Project Website or linked below. Please Note: Level R and above has an option for the student to write answers but not required.
