If possible, find a quiet spot in your home for you child to learn and work. Make it fun and exciting as it will be their special learning and working spot for Kindergarten! I recommend having the following supplies ready at your child's learning spot daily (If you need assistance with getting supplies, please let me know asap):
Supply Box
Box of crayons
2-4 sharpened pencils
Scissors
1 glue stick
1 dry erase marker (provided in picked-up supplies)
1 circle eraser (provided in picked-up supplies)
Headphones
White Board (provided in picked-up supplies)
Worksheets/Papers/Resources/Manipulatives needed for the lesson
This will be noted on the screen as your child joins the meeting.

As we all know, when working with technology, things do not always work! Please understand that the first few weeks might not go as planned as we learn how to login and access all of the learning tools, but we will get through it together!
If you cannot access or login into a learning tool, please email me and we will figure it out together.
If your internet is not working, please email me if/when possible and I will help your child get caught up if he/she misses anything.
If my internet is not working, I will email families immediately and adjust our schedule accordingly.
If possible, find a quiet spot for your child to learn and work.
Help your child get his/her supplies and materials ready for the day before the day starts.
Encourage your child to use the restroom before a learning time.
If possible, have your child eat meals and snacks before and/or after a learning time not during.
Review classroom expectations with your child as needed (they can be found above in this heading).
Help your child be on time to learning times.
Help your child with login/technology issues as needed.
Help your child with independent work as needed.
Encourage your child to participate and pay attention during learning times.
Encourage your child to try his/her best with all of his/her work.
Read weekly emails on Sunday evening.

Google Classroom
Google Classroom
To access Google Classroom, your child will need to be signed into Google. To do this go to a new tab and click on the top right corner to add another account. Then enter your child's email (firstnamelastname33@wsdr4.org) and password which is their lunch pin number. When you use each link, click JOIN to have access to each classroom.
To access Google Classrooms after the initial join, click the waffle (9 dots in the top right corner) and select classroom (chalkboard icon). All of your child's classrooms will be there.
