Our 2nd Grade Program this year is based on the book: "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Daywalt. This is a story where the crayons write to their owner, Duncan, about how they'd prefer to be used for his drawings. All of 2nd Grade will be performing this program in the Liberty High School Auditorium on April 14th, 2026, at 6:30PM. This program was created using the Orff Schulwerk approach. This means that 2nd Grade students will have leadership over multiple parts of the show: singing, dancing, narrating, and playing instruments. It also means that the students have created many of the parts you see in our pieces on their own, therefore, being active music-makers.
