What is Corgi Chorus?
Corgi Chorus is the Crossroads Choir Club! Crossroads takes the admission of all 5th grade students and allows admission for 4th grade students only until the 40 student cap is reached. If more than 40 students sign up, any open spots for 4th grade students will be chosen randomly until the cap is reached. Though auditions are not required to join choir, students must commit to exemplary behavior and attendance in order to be successful. Sign-ups will take place starting August 13th through August 29th, 2025 (Open House-the first 2 weeks of school). Ms. McGlasson will begin passing out choir contracts to students who are interested during this time. Contracts must be signed and turned back in to Ms. McGlasson by August 29th to be part of the choir or to be added to the 4th grade choir drawing.
There is a one-time $20 fee paid through Focus (or cash or check payable to Crossroads Elementary,) to cover the cost of t-shirts, sheet music for performances, and a possible end-of-the-semester celebration. If this cost is a financial hardship please reach out and we'll get you covered!
Rehearsals are before school on Tuesdays from 7:20am-8:20am. However, we will be starting our first rehearsal this year on Tuesday, September 9th.

Choir Sign Up Considerations:
All students signing up must understand and accept the responsibility of being a choir member. It is a commitment. This means students must have a dedication to personal practice, attending rehearsals, and exemplary behavior as we will be representing Crossroads during all our performances.
Ms. McGlasson will begin passing out choir contracts to 4th and 5th Grade students on August 13th and throughout the first 2 weeks of school during 4th and 5th Grade music specials time.
All 5th Grade students interested will be accepted unless we go over the 40 student cap: then we will do a random draw for 5th grade students. Any 4th Grade students will be chosen based on a hat drawing IF we do not reach the 40 student cap.
5th and 4th Grade Students must turn in their signed choir contract and choir fee to be accepted in choir by August 29th.
