Pride of Mesa Ridge
Mesa Ridge High School is located in Widefield School District 3 in southern Colorado Springs. Mesa Ridge opened in 1997.
Individual achievement, team effort, consistent improvement, group success, and musical enjoyment are the cornerstones of what has become one of the premiere music programs in the state. We credit the student's hard work and parent's support for the continued success of the Mesa Ridge Band Program!
The Pride of Mesa Ridge is the 2021 Grand Champion of the Colorado State Fair Parade Competition and has earned a spot in finals at State Marching Championships for the last 18 years, placing 7th in the State in 2022! They’ve had consistent #1 ratings at State Music Festivals in both Concert and Jazz Band for the last 26 years and have traveled to Dallas, LA, San Antonio, Reno, and Disneyland!
The Mesa Ridge Band and Color Guard are made up of nearly 100 of our finest students. Over 25% of the school's student body participate in the school's various, outstanding, music programs. Mesa Ridge has placed several musicians at All-State, All-City and several other honor bands across Colorado. Since scholastic achievement is paramount, the members of the band are expected to maintain high grades. As a result, the grade point average for the members of the band is well above the average for the school.

We Receive consistent #1 ratings at all State Concert and Jazz Band Competitions and Festivals.
Performed in Sea World, the “Big D Classic” Concert Band Festival in Dallas, “Choice Music” in LA, California, and in Disneyland!
The Pride of Mesa Ridge has earned countless awards and podium finishes at EVERY major Colorado competition.
“The Pride of Mesa Ridge” are the 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2021 Grand Champions of the Colorado State Fair Parade Competition!
They have ranked as one of the top 8 Finalist Bands at the State Marching Championships competition for the past 18 years!
In 2022 the Marching Band returned to STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS earning 7th Place in Colorado! WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU!
Our students are consistently selected to Honor Bands around the state.
