First established in 2021 with thirty Onstage Troupe members and ten Backstage Troupe members, Troupe 10336 quickly established itself as a positive, collaborative, and inclusive space for students of all experience levels interested in theatrical arts to come together in the spirit of exploration and camaraderie.
In 2023 and again in 2025, we were recognized as a National Gold Honour Troupe by the Theatrical Arts Recognition Association! And in 2024, Troupe 10336 was recognized at the Manitoba Legislature for their hard work, achievement, and contribution to the arts community in the MLA for River Heights' Member's Statement.
Throughout their time in the Troupe, our members learn about character creation, effective storytelling, plot structure, improvisation as an art form and life skill, verbal and nonverbal communication, backstage duties and responsibilities, and so much more!

Kiana is a young performer who is very passionate about Theatre and Film. She is a STAR Guild member and hopes to continue to build up the levels. She has had much experience in theatre. She was a part of PACE on Vancouver Island and and participated in 8 medleys with the company. She has done 7 musicals at Brentwood college and continues to do more. She has attended classes at MTYP and done multiple workshops and training camps with Rainbow Stage. She has also done some background work as an extra in a Disney movie called under wraps two. She has been part of several choirs such as; LRSD divisional choir (2022-2024), WSO young short term choir (2023 and 2024) and the Winnipeg Youth Chorus (2022 - ongoing). She was recently a part of two musicals this past year; The Addams Family (ÉRHS) and The Little Mermaid (WYC). She is in her first year with JMTC and loves it. She is ecstatic to continue her acting journeys with another year at troupe 10336.
Sal loves to sing, act, and play keyboards with his band, “We’re Only Here For The Snacks.” In Fall 2025, he has a supporting role in the Hallmark film “The Snow Must Go On” and his band is releasing their debut full-length album called “Missed Our Stop.” Sal enjoys watching and playing hockey, and singing with the Winnipeg Boys Choir. He loved performing as Lucas in The Addams Family Musical in Grade 7, and is looking forward to another great year with Troupe 10336!
Mary-Elle loves things like writing, FNAF, Beetlejuice, Spiderman, and is very passionate about theatre. Mary-Elle takes many dance Classes at the RWB including a musical theater ensemble that performs at dance competitions every year. They performed in a trio for a musical theater song last year and are hoping for a duo or solo in their dance class this year. Mary-Elle is very excited to be in troupe 10336!
Leo has a passion for acting, comedy, singing, playing the piano, and just making stuff in general. He loves to perform with his friends, but also loves to watch others perform. He has lots of experience on and off stage, and is constantly growing in many different theatrical ways.
Anna loves to make costumes and is new to doing it for the stage, but has always made quite an effort for Halloween and other costume events. She loves to paint, draw, sew and do sports. Last year she got sliver at the manitoba science symposium for her project Les colourants naturelle (natural dyes). She is looking forward to working with fellow students in TROUPE! :)
After Izzy moved to Winnipeg, she found her love for many things such as, and not limited to:
Acting and most things theatre, frogs, mushrooms, music and art. On the frog aspect of Izzys various interests she knows enough to make most people talk about frogs around her regret it. And most importantly Izzy values family and friends quite a lot.
Willow is a designer who loves designing historical or sparkly costumes. She loves Halloween, fall, math and science. She does climbing, fiddle and hopes to do archery in the future. In the future Willow wants to be a veterinarian or teacher. When she isn’t doing every club she can, she enjoys reading and writing. Willow is part of a family of theatre kids. She also loves cheese!
Leif is an actor who enjoys melodrama and overall being a goofy guy. He has starred in several theatre productions where he normally plays comedic relief characters. He enjoys acting and generally having fun. :)
Rosa loves music, sports, singing and storytelling but most importantly: Drama! Rosa plays fiddle and piano and has sung in many different choirs throughout the years; she even sings with her family and has performed on three continents. She loves musicals; her favourite ones are Wicked, The Sound of Music, and Hamilton! Rosa is excited to explore and continue her performing arts journey!
Zoe boasts a diverse background in both theatre and film. She has undergone extensive training with renowned professionals in the industry, honing her skills in dance, theatre, and vocal performance. Zoe is committed to infusing each role with energy and professionalism, bringing characters to life in a truly captivating way.
Scout is new to theatre but has loved it for years! She is excited to design costumes and explore the world of Troupe and theatre and is excited to create art with her friends and Troupe members! Scout is grateful for the opportunity of being a part of Troupe and is looking forward to the year of drama ahead.
Diane is a passionate actor and singer whose vibrant energy shines through everything she does. Her heart beats for a lot of things, but the things she holds dear: delicious food (naturally!), Nigeria, the power of music, travelling, sports, and the magic of theatre. Diane is thrilled and deeply grateful to be part of the Troupe, embracing every opportunity to grow, collaborate, and be inspired by her fellow performers.
Arthur is thrilled to be in Troupe 10336 this year. He is excited to build on his improv skills, work with the team, and finally discover what stage right *actually* means.Critics are describing Arthur as “promising, but needs improvement and quite frankly cries too much— it’s uncomfortable”. Arthur is describing critics as “that’s mean, you hurt my feelings, shut up Janine”.
Hazel is in grade 7 at River Heights. She has some experience with acting and really excited to learn more about it. She has done musical theatre for a couple of years now at some different locations. She also has done dance for the last six years and voice she really enjoys it. Hazel is really looking forward to this year in Troupe and making some new friends.
Maddy is a grade 8 student at ecole river heights school and this is her second year in Troupe. She has loved acting and singing forever and has taken Musical Theatre for multiple years. Outside of acting, she enjoys playing hockey, and piano. Maddy is excited to make new friends, and for a great year in Troupe!
Amélie is a grade 8 student at ecole river heights school. This is her second year of Troupe. Outside of school Amélie swims for her swim team and plays hockey. Amélie enjoyed STAR Fest last year and is looking forward to participating in it again. She is excited to meet new people and work with them in Troupe this year.
Grayson is a grade 8 at ecole river heights. This is his first year of Troupe. He has participated in the Addams Family musical, school of rock, and multiple theatre productions. He is looking forward to the year ahead. His hobbies include lots of singing, dancing, guitar playing, ultimate frisbee and ofcourse theatre. He is excited for a new adventure in Troupe
John is currently a grade 8 student at River Heights. He enjoys musical theatre and has participated in MTYP theatre camp and plays the guitar. This summer, John had the opportunity to experience working on a movie set. He is really looking forward to participating in Troupe for another year!
Stella is like a sponge, she sops up important information about Troupe, homework and school in general but squeezes out other important things like remembering a bus ticket or her house keys. She is excited to bring her keen attention to detail and her love of research to Troupe 10336’s design team.
Keren is an up-and-coming actor, singer, and dancer. Keren has been dancing professionally for 2 years. Keren has loved musicals since she was five she always wanted to be actor. Something about the dance and singing breaks just made her more alive in one way. And now she will finally get a chance to live that in real time. She'll forever be grateful of this opportunity God gave her.
Halle currently attends Ecole River Heights school and this is her second year in Troupe! She loves to sing and act. She has really found a confidence in the realm of drama, and had no past experience until last year. Halle really just went for it, and it really paid off; she made many friends and found a community of love and support. Now she does professional vocal lessons, has gained many tips from her peers and Mr.collins about acting. She can’t wait for this year in Troupe!
Freyja is 12 years old and she loves animals. She also enjoys playing soccer and volleyball. She has an interest in theatre and she was in the Lion King Jr musical at Brock Corydon. Her favourite musical is Wicked. Freyja is super excited to be a part of Troupe 10336!

Olivia loves to spend time with her family in her free time, and her hobbies are reading, drawing, and writing. Olivia also loves to swim, it’s her favorite sport. Olivia loves to express her creativity through many different outlets, like crafting, singing every single TV commercial she has ever heard, making her parents watch the silly dances she makes up, or acting! She is always eager to learn whether it’s in school or not!
Sadie is not only an actor but also an athlete. She is a figure skater on team Manitoba. She competed at Canada Winter Games in 2023. She loves performing and learning new things. Sadie is excited for another year to grow as an actor and as a person in troupe.
Ayla is a 12 (almost 13) girl in grade 8, who is a competitive dancer and has won multiple medals and awards at competitions. She loves singing and acting, and she hopes to become a very successful actor. Last year, at Ecole River Heights, Ayla won Advanced placement in the Star fest regional, and then in the national Star Fest, she got a Proficient award. She is very excited for another amazing year in Troupe 10336
Leo is an actor who has won awards at STAR Fest Nationals and Destination Imagination. When he’s not acting, he likes competing at science fair, 3d printing, art and playing baritone saxophone. Leo is a twin and has a dog named Sadie. He is excited for his second year in Troupe 10336.
Norah loves acting and has won an award at STAR Fest! She loves soccer, track, and doing anything outdoors! Norah is in grade 8. She loves performing, and public speaking. She is very excited for another year of troupe 10336!
Clara loves to sing and act. She can play piano, and is in her first year of Troupe! She plays basketball and volleyball, but loves basketball the most! Performing, whether on stage or on a basketball court, is one of her favourite things to do! She is so excited for an incredible year in Troupe 10336!
Maeve plays multiple instruments, like hardcore flute. She can also wield a trumpet,play piano, percussion, and she’s got a nice set of vocal chords that can hit the high notes in that one Radiohead song. She is an inducted member of the Thespians and has won awards of excellence and superior level. She is excited to see what Troupe has in store this year and hopes to continue her theatre journey and hopefully even be an actor on television, or movies on Amazon Prime that you really want to watch but its only for rent or buy.
Zia likes rocks, potatoes, and other things. They are a returning member of Troupe 10336 and has never once been hit in the face by a watermelon. They enjoy all the music and their friends, too. They are excited to make new friends this year and also do some awesome acting stuff. They are a morning person and wakes up at 3am on most days but only for good things, promise.
Keaton is an inducted member of the thespian society and current member of Troupe 10336. She has been intrigued in storytelling and theatre for a while and enjoys to create and act. She has a passion for linguistics and music. Keaton also attended MTYP for several years and has been a part of multiple musicals.
As part of Troupe, she has won different awards with others such as a blue ribbon in Thespys.
Keaton hopes to continue performing in productions and to always contribute to theatre and art. She is very excited for the upcoming year in troupe.
Valentina is a 13 year-old girl from Peru, who loves acting. She is enjoys taking part in a lot of activities and has done ballet, swimming, soccer, karate and basketball in the past. Her favourite sport is gymnastics and she enjoys going to competitions or just swinging on bars. Valentina enjoys the acting opportunities the Troupe brings, Valentina considers the Troupe a place where “actors can be actors.” Valentina has not done any shows before but she hopes that the Troupe can help her take the first steps in some sort of acting career.
Avalene is dedicated singer, performer, goalie, and pianist. She enjoys her time onstage and offstage. She participates in musicals at All About Theatre and takes jazz dance there as well. She takes part in a hockey team as well and is also currently learning piano. She also has a grey belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but sadly quit after 6 years. During her time doing martial arts she learned to be aggressive and to grab her goals but the throat and achieve her dreams. She thrives off the thrill of the spotlight and encouragement off those around her. She is a good team-player and would like to one day take on the stage of Broadway. (She also has a child named after her btw)
Sam is a 13 year old boy. He spends most of his time in his room, probably singing along to musicals! He doesn't have much experience in theater other than, backstage last year and two years worth of singing lessons. Some other things/activities he participates in outside of onstage are, army cadets and ultimate, He enjoys spending time outside, and camping aswell. Even though he does not have much experience in theater he is super excited to be part of onstage this year.
Charlotte is very stubborn. With all that stubbornness she loves crazy theatre and acting in general. Charlotte also competes at a very high level in gymnastics. She is also a little bit of a contortionist. Charlotte enjoyed her time in troupe last year and is super excited for this year to come. Some adjectives to describe Charlotte would include crazy, scary, funny, and fartface (but only Nat calls her that last one)

Natasia (any pronouns) is in their second year in Troupe 10336 and he really enjoyed it last year. Natasia is inducted into the ITS (International Thespian Society) and earned 3 yellow ribbons during Thespy’s last year. She does other extracurriculars apart from theatre such as gymnastic (level 3), water polo, ultimate frisbee, and has done a lot of other things in the past as well. Natasia adores the show Grey’s Anatomy and has interest in other surgical stuff as well. It can be pretty interesting as well as silly and chaotic when you get to know them.
Natalie aspires to do something related to theatre in her future. Natalie is also a softball player at a very high level. Natalie is in Troupe 10336 for her second year and played a role in River Heights schools production of Into the Woods last year. As a part of Troupe she has won a blue ribbon for a group musical and a yellow ribbon for a duet musical. Natalie hopes to continue performing and is excited for this year of troupe.
Violet is a nordic and biathlon skier, fiddler and a junior black belt in Taekwondo. She loves filling up her schedule with whatever sports and activities she can participate in. She took part in MTYP and Rainbow Stage musical theatre camps and has loved singing since she was able to make noises. She enjoys spending time at her cabin in the summer that she helped build with her family.
Isla has a variety of interests. She has been involved in theatre for quite some time. Isla has done musical theatre for 3 years, and acting for 2 years, both at MTYP. She also has a background in jazz dance at Kickit Dance Studio. Outside of theatre, Isla loves to bake for her friends and family. She loves to read. She’ll pick up any book that’s handed to her and start reading it. Her favourite thing to do during spring break is head to Banff with her family to go skiing. Isla also loves to travel. Her most recent adventure was a 3 week trip across Western U.S. and Canada. Isla likes to go to the Fringe Festival in the summer, and this year she had the chance to volunteer.
Gabriel Leon is very passionate about performing arts. He loves singing, playing guitar and acting. Gabriel also loves playing basketball with the Corydon Comets. He has a wide range of musical interests spanning all the way from singing in the prestigious Winnipeg Boys Choir to playing in his punk rock band, Mosh. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, mountain biking and hanging out with his friends.
Miriam is an inspiring author and a hard-working student. She has a great sense of humor (obviously) and just say hi to her and she’ll either walk off, weirded out, or start a whole convo with you about books. Miriam is an inspiring author (Just if she could finish a book) and a strong faithed Coptic Orthodox Christian (She takes her title very seriously). If you ever find the initials A~T on display, know that it’s her, (Oh, and if you really need an explanation, it’s because that she wants to use it as her pen name when she, hopefully, finishes a book).
Graham is a person who loves books and plays. They are not good at singing but is good at being very dramatic all of the time. Graham finds it very difficult to write in the third person, but does enjoy falling down stairs (don't ask). They hope to someday be in a play on Broadway because they think that would be pretty lit. Their favorite actor is Fred Sheeran and they want to be just like him.
Carolina is a singer. She participates in many singing competitions and exams all throughout the year. Right now she’s been enjoying volleyball and spending time with her friends. She is excited to get back into theatre after being in her school musical last year and hopes to commit to another sometime in the future.
Marah Gervais is a cool kid who has done theatre since the beginning of time. She’s a blue ribbon winner and an inducted troupe member and enjoys theatre more than anything. She lives and breathes the stage.

Manon is a very creative 13 year old. She loves baking, music, soccer, crochet, food, family, friends and much more. Manon likes to sing and loves to play the piano, tenor saxophone and the ukulele. She has five siblings that always keep her on her toes and she loves to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. She is very grateful to be apart of troup and is excited for what's to come!
Olivia is a 12 year old girl who who has always loved performing. She enjoys expressing herself through Scottish Dance, which she has been doing since she was six. She was born in Vancouver, BC, and loves cross country skiing, camping, and canoeing. Olivia was in troupe last year, and she’s excited to expand her knowledge and skill with 10336 once again!
Hamza is 13 year old returning and inducted member back for act II of his troupe experience. He has always been a performer at heart , but last year especially he fell into the musical theatre rabbit hole with his first real performance in The Lion King Jr as Pumba at All About Theatre. He is thrilled to be with the company this year for Beauty And The Beast and 13 The Musical. He is just as thrilled to be back with the troupe and in the theatre where he hopes to make new friends, face exciting challenges and get some snazzy new achievements to put on his résumé.
Charlotte is passionate about art and telling stories. She has been a member of Troupe 10336 and perfecting her acting skills at Expressions Film Studio since 2021. She always loved performing, notably in the RHS Musical Theatre Club and RHS Idol. She was selected for the 2020 Quantum Arts Program and grand finale onstage recital, an original cabaret creation led by a musical theatre professional. She enjoyed years of piano lessons, dance classes and gymnastics practice in her younger years. She now explores creative movements as an artistic swimmer with Aquatica Synchro Club.
Miora has loved fine arts for her whole life. They are an inducted thespian and loves music and theatre. She has been performing music since the age of four but has only recently developed a love for theatre. She greatly dislikes writing stuff about herself especially in the third person. They are very excited to continue their journey with troupe this year.
Thirteen year old Seth joined the backstage troupe in 2021 last year and worked in the backstage troup to put on a play about adventure at seas. A little after joining the troupe Seth started taking voice lessons and intrigue into musical theatre. Seth has also been playing violin for a little over 7 years. They have joined the onstage troupe this year and are excited for the year to come. They wish to learn more about the arts and are ambitious and elated for the future school musical.
Luisa is a 13 year old theatre nerd who has been going to see musicals since she was little. She made her performance debut in Matilda at All About Theatre, and is now in her 4th year at the company. This summer she took on a lead role in kids fringe, and looks forward to 13 and other upcoming productions. Offstage, she loves reading and listening to music. It is her first year in Troupe, and she looks forward to whatever the year has to bring!
Briony has been on stage her whole life. Starting formal lessons just before her second birthday, she has studied ballet, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical, hip hop, and tap at the Shelley Shearer School of Dance. Briony also enjoys singing and playing ukulele and guitar - including anything by Taylor Swift or from Hamilton. She is excited to be developing her acting and improv skills and hopes to bring these new skills to the stage and screen in the future.
Kira hasn’t really done much theatre in her life but she has always been interested. Her interests are playing a variety instruments and singing. Kira’s dream is to be a actor so she is very happy to be a part of the 10336. Her goals for being in the 10336 are to become better at acting and become more familiar with the stage.
Yana
Yana is a 13 year old and enjoys many theatrical arts. She dances at the RWB and shows her love of dance through mostly ballet and other styles she has learned. She has completed a number of sessions at expressions film studio and enjoys editing and creating short films. She hopes to improve her theatrical skills and becoming more comfortable on stage, she can’t wait to see what being in troop 10336 will help her progress in the world of theatre.
Lilith has many performing related interests but their most prominent skill is their work with aerial silks. They have been doing aerial silks since age 7 at Monica’s Danz Gym and LA Dance Academy, and recently started aerial hoop and trapeze at Monica’s Danz Gym. They also have a background in ballet and acrobatics. Lilith loves musical theatre and is hoping for this troupe to be a good place to expand their singing and acting abilities.
Ellice is a 14 years old, and she loves theatre and acting. She’s taken many expressions film studio classes and has done musical theatre classes at MTYP. Ellice is excited to use the troop to learn new things and be around people who love acting like she does.
Milan doesn’t really have any experience with theatre (other than the Christmas concerts at her old school.) But she really likes to sing, play the ukulele and piano. She has always been interested in theatre and thinks that joining troupe 10336 will be a very interesting, cool and fun experience
Lara (she/they) is a 13 year old human who loves theatre. They have been in three productions, and enjoys performing for fun. They love singing and hope to one day do something with that. They have an unhealthy obsession with Stranger Things and their mind is filled with useless information (they are probably fine). They are really excited to be in troupe this year.
