As a member of the school community, occupational therapy practitioners collaborate among and within various school teams to encourage students’ participation and success in daily school activities.

As a related service provider in special education, occupational therapy practitioners work within IEP teams so that students can make adequate progress and benefit from their special education goals.

As a member of a 504 accommodations plan, occupational therapy practitioners identify reasonable accommodations that support student participation in educational activities.
