Student Art

All grades enjoy educational based age appropriate visual art activities.

Art activities were based on ELA, math, social studies, health and science concepts the students were learning in their core classes.

The goal for students at Plain City is to create art integrated lessons and to get students to think about art outside of the art room.

Student Art

Students are encouraged to start asking questions about an art piece and what they like about it.

Students have the opportunity to learn about a particular artist and then create a piece of artwork in the style of that artist.

Plain City Elementary Annual Art Show

In February Plain City Elementary had its annual Art Show in conjunction with Parent-Teacher conferences.

Each grade picked a theme:

Kindergarten-Friendship

1st grade- Keep Going, Keep Growing

2nd grade- Reading is an Adventure

3rd grade- Under the Sea

4th grade- Utah & The Best of Me

5th grade- From Sea to Shining Sea

6th grade- Food for Thought

All students had a piece of art on display. Parents, students and even community members enjoyed looking at the artwork.
