Welcome, Skyhawks!
Your library is an important part of your education at Snowcrest. There are many resources here for you to enhance your education and reading enjoyment.
Besides our 9,568 print books in the library, Weber School District offers 10,549 E-books and 530 audio books on SORA.
The fiction section of the library is genrefied, which means that books are shelved in sections (like a book store) and are easier to locate. Some examples include: fantasy, romance, realistic fiction, mystery, sci-fi, and many more. The non-fiction section is also genrefied in sections, such as: World History, US History, WWII, Philosophy, Sports, Health and Wellness, and many others. There are signs and shelf placards to help you navigate the library, and you're always welcome to ask for recommendations.
New books are purchased for the library in the fall and spring--and displayed throughout the library.
Aside from our wonderful collection of books and E-books, there are games to play in the library before school and during lunch, such as chess, checkers, UNO, and others.
The Sky Room
The Sky Room is a great place to unwind and relax if you're feeling stressed and need a break. This space is open before school and during lunches. There are additional games and activities you can enjoy in the Sky Room, as well.
Homework Support
If you're missing work and need help catching up on assignments, please sign up to see an advocate in the loft. Students may work with advocates during lunches and during advisory. Our student advocates care about your academic progress and want to help you succeed.
