School Closure & Quarantine

Help & Resources

Well this is weird...

Experiencing a "soft closure" of schools or being quarantined is still pretty new for all of us! It's a learning process for sure. We know there is a lot of stress and unknowns surrounding COVID-19 but we're here to help!

Razorbacks stick together -

just from 6 feet apart ;)

Remember - even if you are quarantined or if our school goes into a soft closure, we are still IN SCHOOL! We still need to be doing our work and doing our best to learn what we need to this year! If you have questions about anything, make sure you're contacting your teachers!

The Importance of a Daily Routine

While you may not be in school in person, you are still in school and expected to do your work! Something that will be a huge benefit to you during this time is creating (and sticking to) a daily routine!

Below is a sample daily routine for kids/teens. Yours doesn't have to look like this, but it does give you a bit of a guide to create the routine that works for you and your family!

Things to do to support yourself mentally:

  • Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories. This includes social media!

  • Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, exercise, and get plenty of sleep.

  • Make time to unwind and do activities that you enjoy.

  • Connect with others. Social distancing does not mean we need to isolate ourselves! There are so many great ways to still keep in contact with our friends and extended family through technology!
