Procedures

Google Meets are an important part of the class. They will be Monday - Friday from 9:30 am - 11:30 am, this is where we will get together daily and discuss any issues we have had on assignments and cover new material. It is also where your student will be able to interact with others in the class. We will have whole group instruction and we will work in small breakout groups. Because this is so important there are a few things that need to be addressed.

• Be logged in and ready to learn at 9:30 am. Class will start promptly at 9:30 am.

• Location, location, location: Please make sure you are in a quiet location free of distractions (laying in bed is not an option).

• Please wear appropriate clothing (this means people in the background as well)

• Cameras will be ON

• Microphones will be OFF

• Come to class with materials ready

• It is very important that you participate in the class.

• Respect for others is a must at all times.

Unless otherwise indicated, all assignments are due the day they have been assigned in Canvas.

If a student cannot complete the work on the specified day it is due, they will have two weeks from the day it was assigned to turn it in. After two weeks the assignment will be locked and no longer available, unless specified.

• It is important to be timely with your work, the timeline is to help make sure you do not get overwhelmed at the end of the quarter.

All assignments will be turned in through Canvas, if you are having issues with this please let me know and we can work together to get any issues corrected. Do NOT email them to me.
