Anxiety/Stress

Breathing/Meditation

Remember, you can breath any place or any time! You use your breathing exercises to calm down, or to stay calm. We learned that to make breathing effective, you need to breath in through your nose and out through your mouth, slowly and mindfully. In addition to Five-Fingered Breathing, we learned Ocean Breath, Candle Breath, two types of Balloon Breath, Pretzel Breath, Dragon Breath, Lion Breath, and Bubble Breath. Parents, ask your student to demonstrate each breath for you!!
