This course will be replacing our traditional Music Theory class for the 2024/2025 school year.  In this course, students will have the opportunity to try a traditional band instrument without committing to the full year for beginning band.  We will also be learning some Choir basics as well! We will learn about correct playing and singing technique, reading pitch and rhythm, and performing as an ensemble.  If at the end of the course students wish to continue on the instrument or join the choir, they can potentially be placed into the band or choir for the remainder of the year.  

Instruments taught in this course include: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Xylophone.
