Smooth Moves is a group for students in 1st-5th grades who are new to the school. This group will meet at the beginning of the year and meet for monthly reunions about one time per month throughout the rest of the school year in order to welcome all new students into our community. This group will run one day per week from the week of August 23rd through the week of September 13th.

Topics covered in this group include:

• Getting to know each other

• Getting to know shared staff members (Principal, Related Arts Teachers, Front Office Staff, Nurses, Custodians, Kitchen Staff)

• Introduction to The Zones of Regulation

• Coping Skills Toolbox
