Articulation: Model Model Model!

There are many sites for resources for specific sound production. You can google 'picture words with /th/' or go to specific sites. Please see the Articulation Tab for more ideas (fyi, mommyspeechtherapy.com is great!) I also use the app 'Articulation Station.' The students love it. It comes with a couple of free sounds but the other sounds need to be purchased.

Read a book with your child or have your child read a book to you, they can even make up a story based on just looking at the pictures----Ask a simple question about a picture using:"Who" "What", "Where", "When", “How”,"Why"

If your child has a favorite book, change the story while reading it and see if he/she notices it was changed. Ask what is wrong and what it should be.

***Please see under the Pragmatic Language Tab all of the short films listed. Great for all ages. Some have words, some do not. Students can do retells, identify the problem/solution, learn about perspective taking, etc. Older students should journal about these short films and connect the theme to their own personal experiences.
