Welcome,
TEMPO is the booster organization which supports the Wachusett Regional High School Music Education Department. TEMPO assists the Music Education Department by providing volunteers to help with everything from concerts and festivals to assisting with uniforms, sets, chaperones, concessions, and the like.
TEMPO raises money by holding fund raisers during the school year as well as running the Snack Shack for varsity home football and soccer games. The money from our efforts is used to benefit the student musicians and provide financial support beyond the school budget much like the athletic booster club supports the student athletic programs. TEMPO pays the student fees for participation in honor festivals, transportation for all festivals and music events, uniform purchases, instrument maintenance and repair, as well as subsidizing the cost for music trips.
Volunteer Information:
•Madrigal Event (Pre-performance work: sets - set up, food coordination; Performance days – table set up, clean up, etc.)
•Snack Shack (concession booth at home football and soccer games...the sign-up genius link for this will be above)
•Uniforms (Fall distribution and/or Spring collection)
