Welcome! For your convenience, we have created a list of hike/family science lesson dates* and guidelines. We hope to see you all! Please remember to have the CORI (link here) completed in order to participate, thank you!

Friday November 17 - nature scavenger hunt
Friday December 15-signs of winter
Friday January 26-states of matter
Friday February 16 -feed the birds/ Audubon Bird Count
Friday March 15 -signs of spring
Monday April 22-Earth Day cleanup (no hike this month-Earth Day cleanup at TPS)
Friday May 17-native plant hunt
*cancellations due to weather/other circumstances will be emailed to families as early as possible before the hike/lesson day
Instructions and Guidelines
For hikes, we will be gathering on the basketball courts at 12:45 for a quick lesson before heading out to the fields and trails.
No younger siblings please, unless they are in a baby carrier.
Please make sure your child has a warm jacket and sneakers.
If you are joining us and wish to take your child home immediately after the hike (about 1:45) please note that in the school dismissal manager. Similarly, if you will be taking home a sibling from another class please note that in the school dismissal manager. Thank you!
