Elementary Students
I have compiled some additional enrichment activities for families and divided the resources into categories to help you select what is most appropriate for you and your child.
Articulation: Model Model Model!
There are many sites for resources for specific sound production. You can google 'picture words with /th/' or go to specific sites. Please see the Articulation Tab for more ideas (fyi, mommyspeechtherapy.com is great!) I also use the app 'Articulation Station.' The students love it. It comes with a couple of free sounds but the other sounds need to be purchased.
Board Games: Any games that promote interaction, conversation and building of vocabulary: Go Fish, Uno, Memory, Guess Who, Apples to Apples Jr., Headbands, 5 Second Rule Jr., Clue or Clue Jr.
Older students may like the following board games: Any games that promote interaction, conversation and building of vocabulary such as Apples to Apples, Times Up!, Headbanz, Outburst, 5 Second Rule, Moods, Catch Phrase, Pictionary, Memory match games, Can you name 5?

In addition, read a book with your child or have your child read a book to you. They can even make up a story based on just looking at the pictures.
Ask simple questions about a picture using: "Who" "What", "Where", "When", “How”, and "Why" questions.
If your child has a favorite book, change the story while reading it and see if he/she notices it was changed. Ask what is wrong and what it should be.

Please look under the Pragmatic Language Tab for short films. Great for all ages. Some have words, some do not.
