Can we develop different modes of communication to ensure that every one of our families understands the complete message?
Families will have communication from Central Office on a weekly basis. Schools will be sharing their individualized plans with families within a week.
Also, this FAQ website will be updated as new questions arise for parents/guardians, students, faculty, and staff.
Why not consider drive and drop off only during this pandemic and not run school buses?
As a regional school district, we are obligated to provide transportation to our students.
If we opt to ride the bus, does my student have to ride to & from school & do they have to ride it every day?
If you choose to have your student transported by a bus, your students does not have to ride the bus everyday. If possible, because of the space constraints placed on bus seating, we would appreciate that students who choose to ride the bus do so as frequently as possible.
Will students be able to use lockers? Where will they store their coats, supplies, backpacks if they cannot use them?
Unfortunately, lockers and personal desks will not be able to be used. Students will be asked to utilize their backpacks, especially at the middle and high school levels were they will change classes.
