Peer Leadership Program

WHO WE ARE

The Chocksett Peer Leaders are a group of 8th graders who serve as mentors and role models to their fellow students as well as ambassadors of the school to the larger community of Sterling.  The Leaders work with 5th and 6th grade students to welcome them to the CMS community, help them with adjusting to middle school expectations and teach them the core values of Chocksett Eagles. In addition to mentoring and working with 5th and 6th graders, the Peer Leaders, in partnership with the Sterling Senior Center, engage in monthly activities with their patrons and serve as ambassadors of CMS.  These activities not only allow the students to contribute to their community through a service learning experience, but develop positive relationships with our neighbors.
