Scholarship: LandMark Implement Student Tech Program
Program: The John Deere Tech program is an elite two-year program designed to graduate John Deere Certified Technicians. In the program, you will have the opportunity to learn about engine and fuel systems, hydraulics and power trains, electrical and electronics, heating and air conditioning, and Oxy Acetylene and Gas Metal Arc Welding. The coursework will consist of lectures and labs taken on campus. Your off-campus training will be at the LandMark Implement dealership sponsoring you at school. If you like hands-on learning or working with cutting-edge technology, this program is for you.
Description: Landmark Implement offers students attending a John Deere program at Southeast Community College in Nebraska or Garden City Community College in Kansas a debt-free degree. All qualified students will receive reimbursement for 100% of college tuition, fees, books, and room and board plus a $5,000 tool stipend and John Deere toolbox. Students will be paid a competitive hourly wage for their cooperation hours in the shop and be guaranteed employment at one of our Landmark locations post-graduation. To qualify, students must sign a five-year agreement*. The tuition reimbursement payback will be pro-rated for 60 months post-graduation. If either party ends the partnership during the five-year agreement, reimbursement payments will cease.
