The WRDSB has some transportation available to secondary schools IF they live within the 'catchment' area AND are 3.2 km away. To determine your eligibility, please visit the Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region website.

YES! Students attending a magnet school and needing transportation may qualify for a Grand River Transit Week Day pass!

Secondary Magnet Program Student Transportation information for 2026-27
It is anticipated that the Grand River Transit (GRT) passes through Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region (STSWR) for eligible students attending WRDSB secondary schools for the following System Designated Magnet Programs will continue for the 2026-27 school year.

Instrumental Strings
Integrated Arts
International Baccalaureate
To be eligible for a GRT pass, students must reside outside the secondary school's regular track boundary and be enrolled in one of the programs identified.
