many teals! (Oct 27, 2022)

On October 27 I went to a small pond beside University Ave. I saw so many green-winged teals, there were more than 30 of them! I also saw many European starlings and american robins. they were all enjoying a fruiting tree. in the photo that I have put up is many green-winged teals swimming around.

F.W.R Dickson wilderness area (Dec 28, 2022)

On December 28th I went to F.W.R Dickson wilderness area in hopes of seeing a rarity to the Waterloo Region, the tufted titmouse. I put some seed on the fence and so many birds came down! I saw many species of birds on this trip, 16 in total. I got too lifers on this trip, the tufted titmouse and the rusty blackbird witch there was three of. I also saw a Carolina wren witch I have see before but have always wanted to get a photo and I did! it was a very nice little walk! The photo is of a tufted titmouse taking a peanut from the railing.
