Elton Knupp
Mrs. Knupp is a theatre educator with more than 20 years experience teaching and directing young people. When not at the Galvin you can find her teaching theatre classes with Children's Playhouse of Wakefield, which she founded. Mrs. Knupp has her BA in Music Theatre from McDaniel College and has been performing since the age of 9. Besides being a teacher and performer, she is also a mom of two girls and a cute little pup named Bella. Mrs. Knupp LOVES performing, sharing that passion with young people, and all things Disney.

Justine Thomas
Mrs. Thomas started doing theatre in middle school, so she is thrilled to be part of the middle school theatre experience for Galvin students! She has a BA in Secondary Education/English and an MEd in School Counseling, and she is currently pursuing an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing at Emerson College. When she is not helping at the Galvin, you can find her counseling at Wakefield High School, helping her husband’s tech crew at the Woburn High Stage Company, writing, or hanging out with her family. (Fun fact: she almost joined the International Thespian Society in high school, but she forgot to turn the paperwork in...)

Amy Burd
Mrs. Burd has been making music for as long as she can remember, and first came to the theatre in high school, where she took a backstage role on various technical crews. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Education from Colorado State University. Outside of school, she sings with the Cambridge Chamber Singers and, of course, the radio. She has a son at WMHS and a daughter here at the Galvin. Nothing brings her more joy than seeing a child’s confidence and self-esteem blossom through the thrill of performing for a live audience, and she can’t wait to see it happening with the Frozen Jr. cast and crew!

Krystal Morin
Krystal Morin (she/her) is a New England-based educator, singer, and conductor who is passionate about leading singing experiences rooted in empowerment, co-creation, culturally responsive pedagogy, community building, and interdisciplinary story telling.
Krystal is the choral music teacher at Galvin Middle School in Wakefield where she leads five choirs in grades 5-8. Krystal is also a Conductor for Roxbury Intermediate II with Boston Children’s Chorus. Krystal is a singer, artistic leader, and leadership team member for VOICES 21C, a Boston-based artists collective dedicated to exploring divergent choral practices and social justice topics and also works for Boston University's Prison Arts Initiative co-teaching collaborative arts courses using the Empowering Song approach alongside André de Quadros in facilities throughout the greater Boston area. Krystal's background also includes experience performing as a choral singer and soloist in community and professional ensembles, and working as a private voice instructor and vocal coach. Krystal holds a Master’s in Choral Conducting from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a B.S. in Music Education from Plymouth State University.

Samara Schwartz
Mrs. Schwartz is thrilled to be music director for Frozen Jr, her seventh Galvin theater production! She loves working with students in drama club and seeing her former elementary school students performing on the Galvin stage. Mrs. Schwartz frequently performed in theater pit orchestras on viola and violin through high school and college, but now is excited to be working on the part of the musical that is actually on the stage. When not teaching music at Woodville and Doyle, Mrs. Schwartz plays viola in a string quartet and in the Boston Civic Symphony. She has a very cute dog named RoyI

Caitlin Brighenti
Mrs. Brighenti is super excited to be involved in Frozen Jr, her 9th musical production at the Galvin Middle School! She has taught music in Wakefield for the past 9 years, working at the Greenwood, Walton, and Doyle Schools. This is her 16th year teaching music, having taught previously in Newton and Holbrook, MA. In Holbrook, Mrs. Brighenti had the privilege of music directing the spring musicals for the high school. She now thoroughly enjoys working on choreography for the Galvin shows! While Mrs. Brighenti’s primary areas of study in college were piano and voice, she has always loved being on stage in any type of performance. She became involved with dance and gymnastics at a young age, and participated in chorus, band, drama, and dance club in high school. Outside of school, Mrs. Brighenti enjoys the beach, hiking, cuddling her cats Sammy and Sylvester, and having adventures with her five year old son, Lochlan.

Sarah DiTonno
Ms. DiTonno is overjoyed to be a part of the Frozen Jr team where she can share her knowledge of dance with the Galvin performers. She began her dance training at the age of 3 in Wakefield, MA, and hasn’t stopped since! Her training includes Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Lyrical. Mrs DiTonno holds a degree in Dance and Theatre with a specialization in Dance Education from Keene State College (as well as her degree in Elementary Education). She has choreographed for Wakefield Repertory Youth Theatre where her work was nominated for a Dash Award on Disney’s: My Son Pinocchio.
Technical Director:
Patrick Sullivan
Mr. Sullivan has been working with the GMS Drama Club for the three years as Assistant Technical Director and is excited to take on the role of Technical Director for the 2025 spring plays. He has been involved in music since he was in middle school. During the summer and fall, Mr. Sullivan works with the Wakefield High School Warrior Marching Band and teaches Math at the Vocational High School in Wakefield. Outside of GMS life, Mr. Sullivan loves hiking and traveling, and is hoping to explore some new places and cultures in the coming year.

Rob MacRobbie
Mr. MacRobbie is excited to be joining the GMS Drama Club as the Technical Director of Frozen Jr. His love of theatre started in high school and has grown extensively to include experience both on and off stage. He has built numerous sets for local community theatres and been recognized for several of them. Mr. MacRobbie is happy to now be able to share his knowledge and love of theatre with his two kids, Morgan & Liam.
