Just a little about me!
I received my Master's of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in School Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University. I have been the school counselor at Enon Elementary School for 10 years and look forward to many more.
I grew up in nearby Bogalusa, but am now a proud Pine/Franklinton resident. I have been married to my high school sweetheart David for 18 wonderful years and am the proud mother to our two children: Chloe (15) & Gabe (11) who are both former students of Enon Elementary School.
When at work, I enjoy getting to know our sweet students and working closely with faculty to help the students achieve their academic, social/emotional, and personal goals.
When I'm away from school, I love to be lazy and hang out with my family, working in my yard, take on little sewing projects (I'm not very good), and tend to our animals. I also enjoy spending time with our amazing church family.
What I do:
In addition to my job as school counselor, I am also serving as one of the 4-H Club leaders and the chairperson of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). As the year progresses, I will be posting updates and information for 4-H as well as our current PBIS activities. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, many of our normal activities may be postponed or cancelled. I will do my best to post information here as I receive it. Please feel free to contact me (preferably by email) about any questions that you have regarding counseling services, 4-H, or PBIS activities.
