What is a pineapple chart?
Teachers willing to participate should sign up by putting their name, content area, room number, and topic of the day in the Pineapple Sharing Form
When a teacher sees something on the chart they are interested in, they go to that classroom at the designated time, sit down in an out-of- the-way spot, and watch.

Thatβs it. No note-taking is required, no post-observation conference, no write-up. Just a visit. Visiting teachers can even grade papers or catch up on email if they want, paying closer attention when the moment calls for it, but getting work done in the meantime.
Visiting teachers can stay for five minutes or a whole class period. The key word here is informal.

The pineapple a symbol of welcome in many cultures of the Pacific. It's use in this chart is in the spirit of inviting each other into our classrooms to inspire and be inspired.
