As a School Social Worker in Waukegan, our primary role is to provide direct support to students identified with social emotional needs through their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The school psychologist's role in Waukegan varies greatly, but we have a primary role in assessments supporting MTSS intervention and problem solving as well as eligibility for special education programs. Basically as we tell our students, we are here to help kids when there are problems at school.

Welcome, students and families! The nurse support students' health in the school setting as well as assisting students and families with health information and resources. The nurse also collect the required 6th Grade Physical Examinations and Immunizations as well as important health data for all students.
