To keep the equipment check moving efficiently, remove all sheaths and have your axes and knives ready when you reach the table.
All axes and knives used in official competition must be legal and inspected by our team. All axes/knives that meet spec will be marked with an event specific sticker, which must remain on the axe/knife for the entirety of official competition.
Don't forget to fill out the waiver for the event, or else you won't be able to compete in the competition.
Brackets will not change once created. Should there be any final dropouts, throwers will be removed from the bracket they are in and reseeded but brackets will not change. For example, if a thrower drops out of the Hatchet bracket 1, it will be reseeded and matchups will change but no players will switch to bracket 2 or vice versa.
The fault lines are the painted lines. Stepping on the paint is a fault. Judges are not required to give warnings about foot faults.
Official Head judges for this event will make any necessary final rulings.
Assistant head judges wearing yellow jerseys are the ONLY judges who can provide seconds on calls.
All throwers will get 10 warm-up throws before their first match of each bracket, then 1 throw between each game/match.
If you are unsure about anything in your match (points, you didn’t hear a call, you’re not sure who won) please stay in your lane and communicate with your judge. If you leave the lane, everything scored in the match is final.
Regarding stalemates, It’s pretty simple: The thrower with the lower score throws first.
No purposeful distractions will be tolerated.
