Housing offered by the employer - participants need to request housing!! Don't assume you already have it, ask for it to HR!
Housing on-site
Rent: $260 biweekly (per two weeks, which means $520 per month) *there might be extra costs depending on housing.
Rent Payment Method: Rent is deducted from paycheck on bi-weekly basis.
Deposit: $200 + $75 cleaning fee (non-refundable). Security deposit is refundable if housing is left in condition it was given. Deposits are returned after participant has moved out and Housing Manager has inspected the room.
Deposit Payment Method: Upon arrival deducted from first paycheck.
Dist. to Worksite: 5 to 10 minutes walking.
Utilities included in rent: Gas, electricity, sewer, water, cable, and trash service.
Rooms and bathrooms are shared, and the employer will assign roommates. You can let the employer know your preferences but they will accommodate based on availability.
Important housing information - read carefully:
It should be noted that some employers do not provide housing, others offer it with limited availability, and a final group of employers provides housing for all their participants.
If the employer offers accommodation, the rates vary depending on the employer.
To reserve accommodation, the participant must comply with the rules established by the employer, such as payment deadlines and the submission of required documentation.
Housing and details can change throughout the season and even before you travel. (Be flexible!)
