Phones and iPads aren't like computers. They don't use printer drivers so you’ll need to download an app called 'Sharpdesk Mobile' from the App Store.
This is Sharp's mobile app. Once installed, go to the settings area and add the user number code and retention code (same number, just two places).
Once done, open the app to print, share a file or webpage using the share menu and choose the SharpDesk app or do the same from the email app.
Your user number will give you access to all printer / copier functions.
Type in the password and click “HDD File Retrieve”. This will show you a list of all the documents you’ve sent for printing.
Select the document you want to print.
You’ll want to delete the document if you don’t plan on printing it again. Look to the bottom right corner and select the check box to ‘Print and Delete’ the document (that will make sure that once you’ve printed it the printer will delete the file from its hard drive, keeping the printer clutter-free).
When you click “Print” it will ask you for your pin one more time.
You can select color or black and white and begin printing immediately, OR, you can select “Choose Printer Settings”.
Here, you’ll have the option to view the document, select the paper size, select double-sided printing, and select color or black and white.
Place document in the tray or place on the glass.
Type in the password and select “Copy”.
Choose color or black and white.
Type in the password and select “E-Mail”
Under the “To” field, you can touch and begin typing in your email OR chose “Select Among Addresses Recently Used” and select an email
Place document in tray and select “Start”
If the document is double-sided, select “Original” on the left and then you can choose from the settings.
