Summer is an excellent opportunity for students to enjoy good books! Reading at least 20 minutes every day is an important part of reading development, at any age or grade level, and a great habit to develop to help meet summer reading targets.

Find something interesting, sprawl out in the sunshine, and enjoy escaping into a great book!

One of the most exciting aspects of the summer reading program is choosing what you want to read! Click on Reading Requirement for some great suggestions. There are many ways to get books: talk to your teachers, visit a local library or the mobile library, go to a bookstore, or even access thousands of free books online!
