DMHS News and Reminders
The library will be closed today through Friday May 17th, for AP testing.
Students who are not assigned a parking space need to find off campus parking. If you are not assigned a parking spot, and you are found to be parking on campus, you will be asked to move your car. Students who are repeat offenders will face additional disciplinary action. If you have any questions, see Dr. Razzaq.
Any senior with more than 14 unexcused absences in a particular class this year should see their assistant principal to see how many buyback hours they owe. The buyback program will begin tomorrow, May 7th, and will be held each Tuesday and Thursday from 2-5 pm in the library for the next three weeks. Please see your assistant principal or Mr Bowler with any questions.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A green ribbon is the symbol worn to increase awareness of taking care of your mental health. Each year, one out of every six people between the ages of 6 and 17 experience a mental health diagnosis. Maybe you or someone you know is one of these people. If so, remember you are not alone and that there are many ways to get help, starting with letting an adult you trust know that you want help. Our school's counselors, your parent or guardian or any adult that you trust is a good place to start. Don't wait! Who is your person? Don't have an adult you trust? Take a chance and talk with your school counselor. Your mental health matters!
