Doherty Powerlifting Club
Doherty's Powerlifting Team provides an opportunity for all students to push themselves physically and mentally to create a better overall foundation of health and fitness.

Envirothon
The Envirothon Team works all year to develop knowledge and skills about natural resources like trees, soils, water, and wildlife. This year students will also be investigating “Climate Change in Our Community.” The Team’s work culminates in a state-wide competition in the spring. Last year, Doherty’s Team earned 4th place!
All are welcome to join! We will gather in Room 322 after school and then head outdoors, weather permitting. If you have questions, see Ms. Hill in Room 322 or Mrs. Racine in Room 320.

The Latin Club meets to experience additional activities that the Romans enjoy. such activities include further exploration in mythology and preparing for Classics Day at Holy Cross in the spring. We also explore Roman Holidays such as the Saturnalia and the Ides of March!

Mindmatters
A Club for students who are interested in student wellness, with an emphasis on mental health and wellness.

Model UN Club
Students meet to work on the assigned Model UN Topic which seeks to bring justice to the world through cooperation and diplomacy. Students will participate in the city wide conference to act as delegate for their assigned country. We meet on a weekly basis for ten weeks to prepare for this conference.

Student Council
Student council is composed of representatives selected by their grade-level. Council members serve as school ambassadors at school and community events. The council plans school-wide activities such as Spirit Week, Wellness Week, holiday contests/ Seater competition, Minute-to-Win-It Games, teacher appreciation events, etc.

Student Workroom
If you need a place to finish your work after school, or, if you simply need a place to wait for your ride, come to the student workroom! The student workroom will be open after school until 3 pm Wednesdays in the Media Center. Snacks will be provided.
