May is Mental Health Awareness Month. A green ribbon is the symbol worn to increase awareness of taking care of your mental health. Each year, one out of every six people between the ages of 6 and 17 experience a mental health diagnosis. Maybe you or someone you know is one of these people. If so, remember you are not alone and that there are many ways to get help, starting with letting an adult you trust know that you want help. Our school's counselors, your parent or guardian or any adult that you trust is a good place to start. Don't wait! Who is your person? Don't have an adult you trust? Take a chance and talk with your school counselor. Your mental health matters!
Doherty Seniors...
Before you go.....we wanted to give you an opportunity to export your work saved in your Google Drive and in Gmail.
To transfer:
We recommend you go to https://takeout.google.com/transfer to transfer your documents and emails to a personal Gmail account. If you do not have a personal Gmail account, you can create one here https://accounts.google.com/signup
Download:
Or if you prefer, you can also download your documents to a personal computer by following the directions in Google Takeout.
Please export any documents by June 30th, 2024 to ensure you have them backed up before your Worcester Public Schools account is closed. Note, transfers can take up to a week depending on how much data there is to transfer.
Keep in mind, if you transfer everything on your WPS account to a personal Google account, a personal Google account has 15 GB of storage. You may want to be selective with what you transfer over by cleaning up your Drive or Gmail before starting the transfer.
We hope things are going well for you and congratulations!
