Summer Pre-College Program at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University

Essentially, Adventures In Veterinary Medicine (AVM) is a two-week, residential or commuter camp-like experience focused entirely on introducing students to veterinary medicine and animal health. Each full day includes topics and workshops in animal CPR, diagnostic imaging, animal behavior, veterinary engineering, as well as the basics of vet school and the college and admissions process. The high school AVM program also includes field trips/experiences with behind-the-scenes opportunities at area zoos, aquariums, farms, and the Tufts Medical School.
