Paid Internship!
ArtsWorcester has recently launched a program called Future Arts Workers of Worcester, a paid internship seeking to connect high school students with hands-on leadership experience in art administration.
Since late-March, we've been collaborating with high school art teachers across WPS who have played a valuable part in promoting this program to their students. We'd love to extend this opportunity to other students within your schools that may not be enrolled in an art course or know the visual art faculty directly. As guidance counselors and college/career readiness mentors, I trust in your discernment as to who you think would be a great fit for this program and appreciate any efforts toward helping build our cohort, as we hope to have students represented from each school.
Kindly share this poster with any 10th-12th grade students (cannot apply if they're a Spring 2024 graduating senior); the QR codes at the bottom link to the program flier and application. Applications are currently open and close May 31st, 2024, with the programming taking place from September 2024-May 2025. If students have trouble with accessing or completing the application form, they should use a personal email. Any questions they still have after reviewing these materials, have them email me from their personal emails at dana@artsworcester.org.
