What if my Chromebook won't turn on?
- Make sure your Chromebook is plugged in. You should see a small light next to the charging port.
- Press the power button. It's the one in the top right-hand corner of the keyboard. Wait 10 seconds to see if this worked.

- If you have a WPS hotspot, please check out our hotspot setup page.
- Make sure you have a good WiFi signal. You may need to move closer to the WiFi source (router or hotspot).
- Make sure you're using the correct password for your WiFi. Be attentive to letters and numbers that can look the same such as 1 (one), l (lowercase L), and I (capital i).

- The most common reason for this problem is simply spelling errors. Check your spelling carefully and pay special attention to letters and numbers that might look very similar such as 1 (one), l (lowercase L), and I (capital i).
- If the spelling is all correct, you can ask for the password for your account to be reset. Send an email with the student's name and ID number to mailadmin@worcesterschools.net and request a password reset. Once it is reset, the password will be the student's birthdate: MMDDYYYY.
